Lake Charles, Louisiana is my hometown. In 2022 according to the city’s crime and homicide rate data, the city reached all time high past 91.4% compared to other U.S. cities. We were able to host a Stop The Violence event and unite with communities as well as businesses to pray, provide information about safe havens, domestic shelters, substance abuse clinics, and nonviolent conflict resolution as a contribution to unity and peace throughout the city.
